Cellular Challenge was established in 2002 and is located in Port St. Lucie, FL. Our cellular recycling program has expanded nationwide and continues to grow with wireless penetration.
Our mission is to provide an environmentally safe solution for the popular question "What should I do with my old cell phones?"
Cellular Challenge provides cellular users with a convenient alternative to throwing their old, deactivated cell phones into the bottom of a closet or in a junk drawer or even worse, the trash. Recycling used cell phones will help to preserve our environment. Cellular phones should not be disposed of in landfills since they contain many toxic materials (lead, arsenic, etc.) that are harmful to our environment. It is estimated that over 150 million cell phones are deactivated each year. It is likely that most of these will enter our waste stream. It is our goal to stop the polluting and have these phones recycled.
